In Memoriam of DJ AM a.k.a Adam Goldstein

DJ AM a.k.a Adam Goldstein, found dead for overdose last friday will be buried today. A memorial would also be held at Hollywood Palladium complete with 12-steps below in paying tribute to him (hence, the relevance of the post below). May heaven rest wit him. He used to escape death with Travis Barker in an airplane crash 19 Sept 2008 that killed a roadie Chris Barker. Seem nuw, he cant escape death just like Final Destination. It only seems like yesterday ever since I saw him performing at MTV Music Awards 2008.
The case: Too bad, AM had 8 undigested OxyContin pills in his stomach when found dead in his apartment. *OxyContin = an opioid analgesic medication synthesized from opium-derived thebain.
There goes a talent, superb talent that shape the sound of Crazy Town (yess, 'Butterfly') in heyday 2002. For those in the dark, he made famous as stonedeaf member of Crazy Town. A later association with Travis Barker found himself spiralling around clubs, generating a kind of brilliant beat that combine punk and hip-hop.

Way back months ago, he's the one referred as 'the luckiest guy alive..'. As a survivor of fatal plane crash (together wit Travis Barker of famed Blink 182), it's hard to imagine his end as supersonic Celebritiy DJ, who spins at private party and superstars backyard.
Result of autopsy not yet determined but among other speculation is, if he appeared to have suffered the same fate as Michael Jackson in terms of their sudden death from reported drug abuse. A sudden death, maybe too fucking early for us still longing to get the best of him, but just like Sid, his creativity and punk legacy lives on.... I guess, he'll be happy to join the same club as Shannon Hoon (Blind Melon), Marley, Jim Morrisson, Cobain, Bonham (Led Zep), Steve Clark (Def Leppard) and the happy list goes on. Only, WHY MUST GOOD PEOPLE DIE FIRST?? With due Respect, Amen...
